The pots were great and the place was mobbed!<br /> </div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> My purchase decision came down to these three vases by Dick Cooter. All wood fired. All with distinct individual qualities. Naomi and I chose different ones. Other folks were standing near. Three women chose the same pot as Naomi. Aside from the beautiful form and glazing, the interior rim is what I love. Not only is the glaze banded but the clay is also combed. That kind of attention to detail is like the potter winking across time. <br /> </div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> Kevin and Ken- couldn't find my Sperry but did turn up these pics from last year of Warren Westerberg's work. He was a MN studio potter at the same time as Robert Sperry. You can see the stylistic similarities.
